How does euthanasia work?
The vet injects the euthanasia solution into the pet’s vein. This medication will stop the animal’s heart and put them to sleep. This procedure is absolutely painless and takes only a few minutes.
Can I stay with my pet during the procedure?
Of course. We believe that’s it’s important for the family to be with their pet until the very end, if they so choose. Your presence will soothe your beloved companion. But if you aren’t comfortable being there during the procedure, one of our staff members will stay with your pet on your behalf.
